Adrian has been playing guitar for over 30 years.
At 18 years old he spent a year at the legendary Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles where he studied under such guitar greats as Scott Henderson, Paul Gilbert and Joe Diorio. Upon graduation, he came to London and began life as a professional player.
He’s been a member of many successful bands notably the Island Records-signed Cherryfalls, and the London based alt. country act The New York Fund. With each of these bands he has toured extensively in the UK and internationally, supported many major acts, and played at all of the major festivals, including 3 appearances at Glastonbury.
As a busy session guitarist, his playing has appeared on many adverts, film soundtracks, and television shows.
More recently he has been playing with up and coming singer-songwriter Kieran Leonard. He co-produced, and played multiple instruments on Kieran’s debut album, Out of Work Astronaut, which was recorded in his home studio, and released in 2012. A second album Good Luck Everybody has recently been released on Xtra Mile recordings.
Adrian’s main creative focus at present is his band The Inky Depths. Their debut album, A Simple Hello, was released in 2011. A follow up, Just A Phase, came out in 2013. A third album is due in 2017.
As a guitar teacher he has nearly 20 years experience in both schools and as a private teacher, and he has helped thousands of guitarists to fulfil their ambitions. He is a holder of the LLCM(TD) teaching diploma from the London College of Music, is a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors.
