It’s all very well knowing a bunch of flashy licks, but the best players are the ones who can deploy those licks and ideas in a musical way, developing them and adapting them to chord changes. So that’s the kind of thing I’m attempting to show you with this lesson. I take one stock country phrase and play around with that idea over the course of a typical country progression.
