The Velvet Underground are one of my favourite bands, but I’ve not really taken a look at any of their songs properly before, unless you count the basic version of Sunday Morning I included as part of my beginner’s course. So I’m putting that right with this in depth look at the beautiful ballad Pale Blue Eyes from their 3rd album. There’s something for everybody here: Lou Reed’s beginner friendly strumming, and a more intricate lead guitar part from Sterling Morrison. I’ve split the lesson over two videos.
