An Awesome Open-String Country Lick
I’ve written out the lick below. I can’t stress enough the importance of accurate, efficient picking technique, particularly if you want to play this kind of thing as quickly and as cleanly as some of the great country and bluegrass players. I’ve included picking indications showing you exactly the way I would do it. There are other possibilities, but for me this really works.
