I’ve been involved in many musical adventures over the years, but currently I have two main projects on the go. The first is a band called The Inky Depths which is an outlet for my own songwriting. The ‘band’ is essentially just me, and a rotating cast of collaborators. There are 3 albums so far which you can find out more about below.
In addition to this I’m currently playing guitar in the band Saint Leonard’s Horses. Their debut album ‘Good Luck Everybody’ came out last year on Xtra mile recordings. Tour, and festival appearances later this year.
Should you wish to check out some sounds you can listen on Spotify, Apple Music and all the usual online places. At the moment there’s not the budget for much in the way of physical copies but I do have a few CDs available of the album Just a Phase – details below.
The Inky Depths – 3 Albums
Help Your Friends Recognise You
This is the most recent Inky Depths Release. Recorded in part at the legendary Rak Studios in London (where the likes of Radiohead, the Cure, Nick Cave have all made records) with bass player James Lewis and drummer Steve Duffy. A bit more synth-y, psychedelic and experimental than the previous albums.
Just A Phase
This is the second album from 2013. A bit more of a ‘proper’ studio album, made in collaboration with drummer Leo Sutherland. Check it out on Spotify, or download from iTunes and all the usual places. There are also a few lovely hand-numbered CDs left. Get yours by clicking here.
A Simple Hello
This is the 1st Inky Depths album. Essentially it’s a solo album I made a few years ago in a tiny Kentish Town basement flat. Musically it’s a fairly lo-fi collection of melodic, alt. pop songs. With plenty of guitar solos. It is available to download from Bandcamp:
Good Luck Everybody
The Saint Leonard’s Horses album is available in all the usual places – iTunes, Spotify etc. Or you can get a vinyl or CD copy here.
