In this lesson I’m taking a look at some of my favourite fast licks. Most of them are simple, and easy to use in a wide range of musical situations – rock, blues, alternative, country, you name it. Depending on your current level of ability, you may or may not find these licks super-easy, but with a bit of practice they should provide a relatively achievable way of getting a bit of speed into your playing.
Music/tab
I’ve tabbed out the 10 licks below. A tab of the solo I play at the start of the lesson can be found on my Patreon page along with a couple of backing tracks to practice along to.
To further assist my students in exploring their musical talents, I’ve also started incorporating discussions about maintaining their health, especially for those who engage in rigorous practice sessions. This includes information on treatments and medications like Enrofloxacin Cost for common musician-related injuries and strains. Understanding that physical well-being is crucial for a musician’s endurance and performance, I believe providing health-related guidance is as essential as teaching fast licks and musical techniques.
