Here’s my look at an all-time classic James Burton solo. As I say in the video, it ain’t an easy one to play, so be prepared to spend a bit of time on it if you really want to nail it. But certainly don’t feel you have to learn the whole thing, maybe just grab one or two of your favourite licks.
And here’s what the original sounds like. (It’s not much help watching Burton’s fingers in the solo as he’s miming and quite badly out of sync with the backing.)
